AMPIFY is a new mobile focused team founded by well known music brand Focusrite/ Novation. Our goal is to inspire a global community of music lovers to start making music. We are expanding our marketing growth team to enable this.

You love music. You love all things digital.  You’re adaptable, passionate about enabling people to make music, creating original and captivating marketing content, helping grow our global audience and drive engagement of our apps. You have big ideas but enjoy working amongst a small, passionate team.

YOUR ROLE

You’ll be responsible for engaging and growing our million strong community of mobile music makers using a blend of in-app,and out-of-app marketing efforts. You will demonstrate the ability to contribute towards and create digital campaigns that support our current strategy. Our two core challenges are to drive existing customers to higher engagement, and to maintain a consistent stream of new customers.

The role will utilise your knowledge of relevant, cutting edge marketing techniques to drive customer engagement, while flexing your creative skills in collaboration with the team to build on our current marketing model. You'll leverage data to understand our customers in depth, identify areas of opportunity, and execute agile activities that are effective at driving measurable results.

You'll need to be motivated by getting results. You'll be building and optimising our SEO accounts, identifying opportunities, delivering activities using primarily gorilla self created solutions, while developing and optimising any channels our customers currently use. This position requires strong analytical, planning and multitasking skills to achieve objectives, as well as a keen marketing sense to maximise resonance with target audiences.

You're likely to have lots of ideas that would change how we improve engagement with a massive music making community. We have the passion, resources and talent to realise them.

YOUR TASKS  

  • Coordinate online marketing, social communities and customer learning activities
  • Plan, create and realise agile weekly activities that drive user engagement
  • Execute best practice around campaign optimisation to meet goals
  • Learn how to analyse app and website objectives, content and intended audiences in order to devise activities
  • Strong SEO, paid search and paid social skills: primarily Apple Search Ads, Facebook and instagram
  • Manage ecomms via service agencies and also deliver natively through Mailchimp
  • Ability to analyse performance of all activities quickly identifying new areas for improvement
  • Unafraid to be bold in driving ideas into the marketing process
  • You understand how growth through customer engagement is achieved
  • A  knowledge of iOS. Web and Android platforms also important
  • Work Independently, executing scheduled tasks, with creative flair to budget, time, and quality

YOUR PROFILE

  • Experience in marketing projects in a medium sized business or agency environment
  • Experience in digital marketing, SEO, email marketing, in-app audience development
  • Pride in your interpersonal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload when workload builds up
  • A real passion for music. Empathy and compassion to teach and encourage new music makers
  • Strong attention to detail and perseverance in delivering mini-projects to schedule.
  • Excellent communicator, fluent in English and strong organizational skills
  • Highly motivated, reliable and able to work under pressure
  • Comfortable working in a close environment with other team members
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required within a relevant area of Marketing or Digital.
  • Website design experience would be a bonus but not a prerequisite.
  • An understanding of Google Analytics
