AMPIFY is a new mobile focused team founded by well known music brand Focusrite/ Novation. Our goal is to inspire a global community of music lovers to start making music. We are expanding our marketing growth team to enable this.

YOU

You love music. You love all things digital.  You’re passionate about enabling people to make music, creating original and captivating marketing content. You can then deliver campaigns that help grow a global audience and drive engagement of award winning mobile music apps. You have big ideas but enjoy working amongst a small, passionate team. You’re flexible, able to switch between being on a live facebook feed, to managing a campaign.

YOUR ROLE

You’ll be responsible for engaging and growing our million strong community of mobile music makers using a blend of in-app, and out-of-app marketing efforts. Our two core challenges are to: drive existing customers to higher engagement, and to maintain a consistent stream of new customers.

You will demonstrate an ability to create engaging content that drives engagement in our million strong community of users. Using your musical skills you can create videos and livestreams.  You’re happy to be on camera as well as edit video. You can write marketing copy that stimulates a global audience. You can use your knowledge of relevant, cutting edge marketing techniques to drive customer engagement both in-app and out-of-app.

You’ll leverage data to understand our customers in depth, identify areas of opportunity, and execute agile activities that are effective at driving measurable results.

You'll need to be motivated by getting results. You'll be delivering our activities, while developing and optimising any channels our customers currently use. This position requires strong analytical, planning and multitasking skills to achieve objectives, as well as a keen marketing sense to maximise resonance with target audiences.

You're likely to have lots of ideas that would change how we improve engagement with a massive music making community. We have the passion, resources and talent to realise them.

YOUR TASKS   

  • Generate highly engaging content in video and written formats
  • Coordinate online marketing, social communities and customer learning activities
  • Plan, create and realise agile weekly activities that drive user engagement
  • Execute best practice around campaign optimisation to meet goals 
  • Analyse app and website objectives, content and intended audiences to plan activities
  • Manage activities, campaigns and co-ordionate with our HQ Focusrite / Novation teams.
  • Analyse performance of all activities quickly identifying new areas for improvement
  • Unafraid to be bold in driving ideas into the marketing process
  • You understand how growth through customer engagement is achieved 
  • A  knowledge of iOS. Web and Android platforms also important
  • Work Independently, executing scheduled tasks, with creative flair to budget, time, and quality

YOUR PROFILE

  • Performance and musical ability  (You can perform music in a video and inspire others)
  • Experience of content marketing creation (Video Production)
  • Experience in marketing projects in a medium sized business or agency environment
  • Experience in digital marketing: social,  email marketing, in-app audience development
  • Pride in your interpersonal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload when workload builds up
  • A real passion for music. Empathy and compassion to teach and encourage new music makers
  • Strong attention to detail and perseverance in delivering mini-projects to schedule.
  • Excellent communicator, fluent in English and strong organizational skills
  • Highly motivated, reliable and a will do make amazing things
  • Comfortable working in a close environment with other team members
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required within a relevant area of Marketing or Digital.
  • Website design experience would be a bonus but not a prerequisite.
  • An understanding of Analytics
